Lake Bohinj
Slovenia, Bohinjska Bistrica

It is one of the largest lakes in the country, with 318 hectares of land under its surface. In appearance, it somewhat resembles Norwegian fjords. Like most other bodies of water, it appeared in this area due to the melting of glaciers. It is “fed” by karst springs and small rivers. The peculiarity of this Slovenian landmark is that the lake is home to many different species of fish. If you like fishing, then you are guaranteed a great catch.
