Surrounded by hills, as if hidden from civilization, the village of Čičmany in the Rajecka Valley resembles an illustration from a children's fairy tale book. This architectural reserve has 136 wooden log houses, some 200 years old, decorated with incomparable ornaments that have become the calling card of the village.
