Stanišići is an ethno village near Bijeljina in Republika Srpska. The owner of the complex is Borislav Stanišić, a local entrepreneur. Entrance is free for visitors. The complex was built in March 2003. In its beginnings, it consisted of one pond, a tavern and a brook, but it expanded over time and now it contains another pond, two mills, and restaurants with local cuisine prepared in the traditional fireplace. The ethno village is still expanding, by building new objects.
"Maksimir" is the main park in the central part of Zagreb. Just 10 minutes' drive from the railway station, you can stroll along the alleys with centuries-old trees, take a rest in the shade of spreading acacias, breathe in the air filled with the scent of pine needles, and watch wild birds. The green island was ordered to be created in 1794 by the Zagreb bishop Maksimilian Vrhovac, and the park was named in his honor.
The Schäfler Ridge is a mountain range in the Alpstein region of northeastern Switzerland. It is part of the northern chain of the Alpstein massif. The ridge offers panoramic views of the Säntis, Altmann and Ebenalp peaks. On clear days, you can even see Lake Constance.
It is separated from the world ocean level by 500 m, and in the area there is a nature reserve of national importance. It is named after the highest point in the described area - Triglav. A trip here will not only be interesting, but also useful, because the lake is deservedly considered a balneological resort. Prskalo is located in the area of the village of Resavica, well known for its coal mine. On the left side of the waterfall, there is a narrow path, that leads to the spring of the river Nekudovo. Manasija Monastery is a 15th-century Serbian Orthodox monastery located near the town of Despotovac in central Serbia. The monastery was founded by the Serbian medieval ruler Despot Stefan Lazarević in the early 1400s. The massive structure was dedicated to the Holy Trinity and belongs to the Morava architectural style. The monastery complex is surrounded by monumental, mostly rectangular walls used for defense. The walls consisted of 11 towers, with the most prominent being the Despot's tower.
This spaceship-like Serbian monument reaches for the stars in celebration of the fallen fighters of fascism. The Kosmaj Monument (Kosmaj Spomenik in Serbian), is made of several freestanding concrete structures, each roughly 40 meters high, that taken together look a bit like a spaceship sent through time from a future envisioned in the 1970s.
Selimiye Mosque in Edirne is a magnificent 16th-century Ottoman mosque, widely regarded as the masterpiece of the renowned architect Mimar Sinan. Commissioned by Sultan Selim II and completed in 1575, it features a grand central dome supported by eight towering piers, creating a vast and harmonious interior space adorned with exquisite Iznik tiles and calligraphic inscriptions.
With its soaring central rock formations blending into the nearby Belogradchik Rocks, the Belogradchik Fortress (Kaleto Fortress) boasts a history dating back to Roman times. Most of what you see today, which includes courtyards, bunkers, and the photogenic encircling walls, was built by Ottoman architects during the 1830s.

Koza Han is a historic caravanserai located in Bursa, Turkey, originally built in the 15th century during the Ottoman period to support the thriving silk trade. The structure housed silk merchants and served as a center for trade and social interaction, featuring vaulted corridors, small shops, and a central courtyard.
The Abbey Library of Saint Gall is a magnificent medieval monastic library located in St Gallen, Switzerland. It was founded by Saint Othmar in the 8th century. During a fire in 937, the Abbey was destroyed, but miraculously the library and its books survived. Between 1758 and 1767 a new library hall was designed in a Rococo style.
The waterfall originates from a small river named Vrelo, the right tributary of the Resava river. It's located at more than 1,000 feet (380 meters) above sea level and is 82 feet (25 meters) tall. The waterfall is one of the largest in all of Serbia and was formed due to natural sinter (tufa) accumulation. A shallow pond with crystal clear turquoise water forms at the foot of the falls, surrounded by tufa blocks.

At one time the castle was reconstructed, since then it is divided into several parts - the square tower of Frederick, defensive and economic buildings. Today the building is perceived not only as a large fortress of the Middle Ages, but also an excellent platform for exploring the surrounding area. Theatrical performances and knightly tournaments are often held here.
Known to the Romans as Felix Romuliana, Gamzigrad is a 3rd century Roman compound with plenty to offer in the modern age. Temples, palaces and incredible art abound, with the Grand Temple standing tall above them all. Gamzigrad is one of the Seven Wonders of Construction, and for good reason. Its place in the best attractions in the country almost goes without saying.
The spring is not only a source of Vlach myths and legends. It's also an ecological oasis. The hypnotizing turquoise water is surrounded by plants, their branches descending into the cold water like the arms of great forest guardians. Above the lake rises a picturesque cave, fulfilling the fairy tale-like backdrop.
The Avala TV Tower is located on Avala Mountain, 25 kilometers from the center of Belgrade. There is a large park around the tower, where there are picnic tables, walking routes, monuments, a couple of restaurants and museums, and even a wooden church. The observation deck is at a height of 122 meters, and you can quickly get there by elevator. You can’t see Belgrade from the platform, but the view of the surrounding area is beautiful.
