Gediminas' Tower
Lithuania, Vilnius

The Old Town of Vilnius is decorated with the Gediminas Tower, which bears the name of the founder of the capital, Duke Gediminas. The 48-meter tower rises on the Castle Hill, from its top there is a beautiful view of the Old Town of Vilnius. The tower was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, and in its current form it is an octagonal structure, within the walls of which is a branch of the Lithuanian National Museum.
