Tiškevičiai Palace
Lithuania, Vilnius

The Tyszkiewicz estate was once wooden and served as the counts' summer residence, and years later one of the heirs of the eminent family decided to settle here for a long time, so he commissioned a German architect to design a new stone building. The new two-story palace acquired features of Baroque, Renaissance and Classicism, and after restoration in the 50s of the last century it opened to the public. Today, the world-famous Amber Museum operates in the halls of the palace.
