Rajko's Cave
Serbia, Majdanpek

The river of the same name flows through the Rajkova cave, which merges with the Paskova river at the exit of the cave and thus forms Mali Pek. According to the length of the studied channels, 2304 meters, this is the longest cave in Serbia. When the river and dry channels join, a circular path is formed, 1410 meters long, and tourists can only partially examine the river and dry horizons, 633 meters long.

Đerdap Gorge
Serbia, Majdanpek

More of a river than a gorge, the Đerdap Gorge is often described as a ‘border designed by a deity’ and that doesn’t really do it justice. Water absolutely dominates the image, bordered by two dramatic cliff faces that seem to be immensely foreboding, but are home to many sights and sounds themselves. It is sometimes referred to as the Iron Gate, which is a little easier to pronounce than Đerdap.
