Perućica

Perućica is a relict forest, such forests are also called virgin and primeval. This means that the forest has not been changed by man or natural disasters. In 1952, Sutjeska with its Maglič, Volujak, Vučevo and Zelengora mountains was given the status of a national park. In the same year, Perućica was designated as a nature reserve with a strict ban on any economic activity there. The forest area is 1,434 hectares.

Piva Canyon

One of the most beautiful places in Montenegro is the Piva River Canyon. This river is not navigable, as most of its course is located in a deep, rocky gorge. The gorge is approximately 30 kilometers long and up to 1,200 meters deep. Visiting the canyon is included in many excursion tours.
