Gazivoda is shared by two countries, Serbia and Kosovo, but most of it (9 square kilometers) is within Kosovo's borders. Due to its biodiversity and stunning views, Gazivoda Lake is one of the most popular destinations in Kosovo. In addition to its rich and beautiful nature, Gazivoda Lake is home to many archaeological finds. Hundreds of artifacts dating back to the Middle Ages have been found in the lake.
