Visoki Dečani is a monastery in the Raška-Prizren Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church, located 12 km south of the town of Peć at the foot of the Prokletije Mountains in western Kosovo. The main Serbian Orthodox monastery in Kosovo. The monastery's main cathedral is the largest medieval church in the Balkans, and has the largest surviving collection of Byzantine frescoes.
