Kromeriz Castle was built during the 13th century before being transformed into a chateau during the 16th century. The castle was burnt by fire in 1752 and rebuilt only to suffer damage during WWII following German grenade strikes. Within the castle, visit the Pink Salon, a room filled with paintings dating to the 16th century, a grand Venetian mirror and many examples of Czech glasswork.
